Godalming United FC were formed in 2005 under their original name of Farncombe FC.

They were formed with the dream and plan to go from the lowest Saturday division possible (Guildford & Woking Alliance Div 4) to playing in the FA Cup Qualifying Rounds (Combined Counties Prem) in only 12 season. 4 seasons in and they are one promotion behind the original plan having finished 3rd in Division One last season.

2009/10 should be their best season yet with a settled squad in place, their manager returning and some promising new signings lined up.

The addition of a commercial manager, Richard Perham, should also bring funds and PR to the club as we quickly aim to progress beyond our local rivals.

We are based in Surrey, 5 minutes outside of Guildford Town Centre and 10 minutes from Godalming Town Centre - the nearest train station is Shalford and the ground is a ten minute walk.
